How to Care for your Beeswax finish pole

Beeswax is a traditional finish that’s been used for centuries, created when hot, forged metal is dipped in natural beeswax and then cooled, resulting in a subtle, deep grey colour.  The natural beeswax seal can deteriorate over time, so it will require a fresh coat of pure natural beeswax with a lint-free soft cloth every 3 – 6 months to maintain the seal.

A beeswax finish is not suitable for damp conditions, such as bathrooms, or for outdoor use, as it will oxidise and cause rust.
